The date of construction of the source of Sant'Ana or Fontinha do Castelo is uncertain. It is known however that it has undergone some remodelations throughout the years, if not centuries, according to information provided by the Castelovidense Francisco Borba. Fontinha do Castelo, name by which it is better known, is already outside of doors, but just beyond the walls, at the edge of the Circunvalation Road.
Não se sabe ao certo a data de construção da fonte de Sant'Ana ou Fontinha do Castelo. Sabe-se no entanto que sofreu algumas remodelações ao longo dos anos, senão mesmo séculos, segundo informações cedidas pelo castelovidense Francisco Borba. A Fontinha do Castelo, nome pelo qual é mais conhecida, fica já fora de portas, mas logo além das muralhas, à beira da Estrada de Circunvalação.
