Built in the middle of the Neo-Chalcolithic period, the "Anta do Porto Aivado" stands on a hill of pronounced domination over the surrounding landscape, punctuated by the presence of pastures, olive trees and cork oaks.
From the primitive sepulchral chamber, at present only the vestiges of three of the probable stones that make it are visible, since the state of ruin in which the monument is found seriously complicates the integral reading of this megalithic funerary structure. It is likewise difficult to infer the existence of a corridor at its origin, even though indications in the late eighties seem to point to the presence of a mamoa - or tumulus -, which would cover in its entirety this pre- historic. Porto Aivado" situa-se numa colina de pronunciado domínio sobre a paisagem
circundante, pontuada pela presença de pastagens, oliveiras e sobreiros.
Da primitiva câmara sepulcral, são actualmente apenas visíveis os vestígios de três dos prováveis esteios que a perfaziam, pois o estado de ruína em que o monumento se encontra dificulta seriamente a leitura integral desta estrutura funerária megalítica. Torna-se, do mesmo modo, difícil inferir a existência de um corredor na sua origem, mesmo que os indícios registados nos finais dos anos oitenta pareçam apontar para a presença de uma mamoa - ou tumulus -, que cobriria na totalidade este sepulcro pré-histórico.
