The present classification refers to a megalithic grave implanted in an open field punctuated by some undergrowth.Of the seven triangular-shaped granite stelae that originally constituted this national monument, only six of us came, three of which, however, had their respective vertices broken and knocked over the ground. The missing element corresponds to the first stancil that would be to the left of the person who is facing the camera. Well set in the ground, the pillars are slightly inclined to the interior of the irregular polygonal chamber, without corridor (despite the contrary indications provided by Vera and Georg Leisner in 1959), quite possibly due to the inexistence of the table, or hat.It is within the dolmen that there are some fragments of a granite slab that, it seems, will correspond to the primitive cover slab of the dolmen, whose mamoa - or tumulus - is almost imperceptible. Dos sete esteios graníticos de forma triangular que constituiriam originalmente este monumento nacional chegaram até nós apenas seis, três dos quais apresentando, contudo, os respectivos vértices quebrados e derrubados no solo. O elemento em falta corresponde ao primeiro esteio que se encontraria à esquerda de quem visualiza de frente a sua câmara. Bem fincados na terra, os esteios encontram-se ligeiramente inclinados para o interior da câmara poligonal irregular, sem corredor (apesar das indicações contrárias fornecidas por Vera e Georg Leisner em 1959), muito possivelmente devido à inexistência da mesa, ou chapéu.
É no interior do dólmen que se encontram alguns fragmentos de uma laje de granito que, ao que tudo parece indicar, corresponderá à primitiva laje de cobertura do dólmen, cuja mamoa - ou tumulus - é quase imperceptível. [AMartins]
