Implanted in a relatively isolated area surrounded by wild vegetation, this megalithic grave classified as "National Monument" was originally constituted by seven pyramidal-conical granite stalks of irregular character, deeply buried in the ground and without corridor. With respect to the cover plate of the circular chamber, it was inclined on one of the supports and partially overturned by land until 1992, when it was replaced by the Archeology Section of the Castelo de Vide Town Hall, under the guidance of Prof. Jorge de Oliveira. Implantada numa zona relativamente isolada e circundada por vegetação bravia, esta sepultura megalítica classificada como "Monumento Nacional" era originalmente constituída por sete esteios graníticos de forma piramidal-cónica de carácter irregular, fortemente enterrados no solo e sem corredor. Relativamente à laje de cobertura da câmara circular, ela encontrava-se inclinada sobre um dos esteios e parcialmente derrubada por terra até 1992, ano em que foi recolocada pela Secção de Arqueologia da Câmara Municipal de Castelo de Vide, sob orientação do Prof. Jorge de Oliveira.
